Barbara A. (Sheehan) O’Connor, age 79, died at home, surrounded by family on May 30, 2016 after a long battle with COPD & Alzheimer’s. Born 4/13/1937 in Bucksport, ME, long time resident of Brewer and Holden, ME. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Paul O’Connor in 2007. She has been living in Chesapeake, VA for the past 8 years. Survivors include daughters Anne (Fred) Newton & Beth Bissell; Grandchildren, Mark Bissell, Samantha (Tony) Fields, Kayla Newton & Mary Newton; and Great grandchild, Rhiana Bissell. Sister, Irene Denault and brother Colin Sheehan, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held next summer, in Maine at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery in Bangor; date & time to be announced later. “I love you a bushel and a peck.”
