John Gregory Limandri, age 59, of Hampton, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. John was born in Hampton, VA on May 27, 1965 and is the son of late Francis V Limandri and Dorothy B Limandri. He was a Master Electrician and a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Hampton, VA. He loved his church and loved helping others. Til the very end, he was helping those in need. Starting as a child, his mind was brilliant, and he loved to take things apart to find out how they worked. He loved his annual canoe trips with his friends, building model cars and planes, and he was an amazing cook. He as well known for his bruschetta, but he didn’t even like tomatoes!

John is survived by his wife, Jodi Limandri, of Hampton, VA; brother Skip Limandri (Annie); sister Katherine Johnson (Tony); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Ric Limandri of Auburndale, FL, and Dr Barbara Limandri of Portland, Oregon.

A celebration of life will be held on July 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 1380 N Mallory St., Hampton, VA 23663.

My sincere sympathy to the Limandri family. How sad to have lost two siblings so close together. I visited your home many years ago when Barbara and I were in school together and John was called "John -John." I am sorry for your loss.
