Throughout John’s life he was an avid reader. He enjoyed reading history novels, traveling, learning about other cultures, and visiting museums while traveling abroad.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leilani; brothers; Gus (Conchita) and Tom (Joanne); sisters: Cathy (Jack), Lisa (Gary), Marie, Annie, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church located at 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at Yukai Buffet located at 1952 Laskin Road Unit 511, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
