Kathy was my dear and close friend. I miss her so much, and I know I always will. We enjoyed many things together - visiting and talking, having lunch together, worship, Sunday School, and conversations on the phone. It's such a comfort to have a friend that you know will always be there. Kathy was a powerful witness for the Lord as she dealt and lived with her health issues. She was smiling, friendly, did what she could to help others and did not complain. She always felt such joy with her family. We had many conversations about our grandchildren! She gave toys which hers had outgrown to me for my youngest granddaughter. She is still enjoying them and knows "Miss Kathy" gave them to her. Kathy is well now and healed in her heavenly home. I will always be grateful for her and what she meant and still means to me. Love you, dear friend.

One of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met. I know Heaven is jumping at her arrival.

I met Kathy at CCUMC. She was a treasured friend to my daughter and I. The first Sunday I attended church after my mother’s passing, I could not stop the flow of tears no matter how much I tried. Kathy and Suzanne wrapped their arms and hearts around me and started the healing. After church, Kathy treated my daughter and I to breakfast. It is a memory I have always cherished and even so much more now. After I moved from Virginia Beach, she kept in touch with cards. I hope she knows how much she was loved.
