Richard A. Boxer (Rick) passed away on September 18, 2021 in Yorktown Virginia. He was born and raised in Hampton, VA and was a 1965 graduate of Hampton High School.  After graduation from Old Dominion University, Rick was employed by Newport News Shipbuilding for a couple of years. He then relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked for the state of Nevada in various functions.  Most recently, Rick lived in Anthem Sun City, in Henderson Nevada where he spent many memorable hours on the golf course with his golf buddies.

Rick is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Boxer, nieces Lynne Boxer (Tom), and Jenny Moore (Josh) and grandnieces Corynn and Jordyn.  As per Rick’s wishes, there will be no public funeral ceremony.
