Bruce & Nancy Harrison and family left a message on November 3, 2021:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Winstead family and friends. I knew Glenn from our days at Norview, parties, skipping school, Sunday football games, hunting at the farm. We all hung around Pizza Chef, Glenn worked at Yum Yum Chicken, I won't soon forget the silly hat he had to wear. I remember him and a few others riding in the trunk of the car going across the HRBT, you had to pay a per passenger toll back then. I remember us going hunting in Ronnie's old 56 Dodge Wagon. It smoked so bad you would have thought we were mosquito control. We stopped at a station in Richmond and told them to fill it up with oil and check the gas. What a wonderful friend!!!

Mary Joyce. We are so sorry. Eleanor called me to let me know the bad news. I know there are no words of comfort. Love. Den & Maribeth.
Gene and Karen Rice and family left a message on October 29, 2021:
Growing up, I knew Glenn more as Payten's older brother. It shocks me, looking back, to note that he was less than two years older than I. I wish now I had taken the time to know him better . . . I look forward to reading other's memories of Glenn in these pages. Please know that, though our families have grown apart over the years, we still hold you close in our hearts, and our love and prayers are with you now. Clearly, Glenn loved animals and, in light of that, we've made a donation to the Norfolk SPCA in his memory.
