Alfred was part of our family growing up. We were all Navy brats and he was one of my older brothers best friends so he was one of my older brothers as well. I had kept in touch with him over the years via phone and e-mail as we lived far away from him. I was very sad when I heard of his passing as he had quit responding to my communications. He will be remembered fondly and missed.My heart is heavy.
