As a sister-in-law twice, I myself lived quite a few years of her life around her.She was a very happy person even when going through bad times. She was always an upbeat person. I met her and her family for the first time when my husband Ray (Dane Ed’s ) brother got out of the military and we took him home to Virginia when his daughter Trudy was one year old. So we lived close to them for years in Newport News Va. we had lots of good times with them until Dane Ed’s passing, and even after that when she married my brother James and we saw each other quiet often. Lou was a good person and we cared a lot for her and the family. I was sorry to hear about her passing and would have liked to have seen her again. I offer my condolences to her and the family. Will be praying for comfort for them. Loved them all. Sis-in-law Mary

The one thing I remember most about Lou is when you guys would come to WV, Lou and Dad sitting at our kitchen table drinking coffee and laughing. She was always happy sitting there.

You treated me like a son. At a time when I really needed it. Thank you for being you, sunshine is very dim compared to the light of life you gave to so many of us. Love you and always will.
