Laurie was my riding instructor when I was a kid at Hillcrest. I'm a trainer and farm owner in Georgia now, and I learned of her passing from another trainer at a show yesterday. My deepest condolences, the world has lost a force of Nature, her personality and passion are unforgettable and made so many lasting impressions.
