Hampton – Donald Cameron “Junior” Turlington, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2022, following a brief illness. He was born on November 30, 1958 to Donald Turlington, Sr. and Macrina Ortiz Nash.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Harvey Turlington and Dean Tanner and his daughter, Jessica Rawlings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita R. Turlington; his children, Chris Skeen and Tabitha Turlington and their mother, Debbie Bailey; his step-daughter, Shana Gillespie (Will) Jennings; his mothers, Macrina Otiz Nash and Roberta Sherwood; sisters, Carmen Elvia Castro Ortiz, Patricia (Sam) Russo, Donna Reel, Nicole Tanner Raigoza and Leona Staples; his brother, Luther “Ed” Turlington; granddaughter, Zaniyah and her father, Samson Richardson; aunt, Margaret Thompson; uncle, Roy Vega and sister-in-law, Margaret “Nini” Turlington and a special nephew, Travis Cole along with many other family and friends.
Junior loved being outdoors and worked as a groundsman for Asplundh Tree Experts for 36 years. Junior was always smiling and he loved the New York Jets, horror movies and all things music. He spent much of his time with his beloved fur babies, Duchess the dog and Lucky the cat.
A Memorial service will be conducted 1 pm Saturday, May 2, 2022 at Greater Discipleship Center, 1307 LaSalle Avenue, Hampton, VA 23669.
Cremation Society of Virginia -Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
