Timothy Hammond was born in Rockingham, NC to the late Nonnie and Annie Pearl Hammond on April 25, 1944. He graduated from Granby High School and married his high school sweetheart, Karen Casterline on June 22, 1963, in Norfolk, VA. He served in the Navy from 1962-1964. From there he was self-employed until his retirement in Jan 2022.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Karen and his 2 daughters, Cynthia Black of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Christina Brinker (Rick) of Norfolk, VA and his grandson, Zachary Brinker of Norfolk, VA.
The family of Timothy wishes to extend their sincere thanks to his Interim hospice nurse, Suzanne and all others who participated in his care during this time. Please feel free to leave condolences and any memories you may have here.
