Patrick O’Connell born 07-24-1942.

Passed away in his home on June 21, 2022.  Patrick left behind his wife Patricia of 36 years.  Patrick left behind four children.  Ralph O’Connell, Robin Davis, Kimberly Murphy and Rochelle Traugott.

Son-in-law John B Murphy, daughter-in-law Deborah O’Connell, son-in-law Wes Traugott.

Together he has 15 grandchildren Brandon Johnson, Travis Johnson, Laura Carlson, Kayla Barker, Krista O’Connell, Derek O’Connell, Carter Rush, Katie O’Connell, Corban O’Connell, Lindsay Murphy, Brian Murphy, and Matthew Murphy, Tyler Traugott, Jordan Traugott, Brooke Traugott.  He also left behind 13 great grandchildren.

He left behind one living brother, James O’Connell, five predeceased Siblings Rita Nightingale, Mary Schmidt, Kerin O’Connell, George O’Connell and John O’Connell.

Patrick was an active member of the Moose Club, Elks Club, and the VFW.   He retired from the military, retired from The National Elevator Union and was the owner of The Colonies RV and Travel Park.

A Service will be held at Creeds Church of Christ. July 2, 2022, 11:00 am.  Potluck to follow in fellowship Hall.   There will also be a Celebration of life at the Paradise Ocean Club on Ft. Monroe, VA 23651 from 1 o’clock in the afternoon to 6 PM on July 23, 2022. The church is accepting flowers between 10am and 12pm on Friday.
