Styrofoam Cup on Asphalt Scott, remember Scott? Hot snot cold boogs Scott, pierced his ear with a needle an' a cork, needle him—do it do it do it—spit to make it shine, shine silver like King Street’s not, like not Saturday night, not phosphorescent, not for a second, but the second exit—and the parking lot, a lot of night (lot of Krispy Kremes), coffee black, coughing in the back seat, weed’s not rolled right seeds pop, Scott sees a folded star falling to the floor, stardrops on tarmac, pitch cold light warm woolen mittens—no not knit here—not hot mutton on a silver platter, but cold cold sheep on a paper plate.
