Rose Marie Lee Blankenship passed away March 24TH in Va Beach Va. Rosie was born on Nov 16, 1966 to Robert Lee and Thelma Lee. She was a graduate of Cox High School. She was the youngest of six children.
Rosie grew up in Pembroke Meadows and when she was eight years old she moved to Baylake Pines. She had many friends growing up and treasured their friendship and the close relationship she had while living with her parents and sisters. There were a lot of great times in Baylake Pines and a lot of shared memories on Facebook.
After high school, Rose worked a lot of different jobs mostly in the banking and mortgage industry. She met her husband Eric and once married, they lived in the Outer Banks for many years. She loved OBX. After her divorce, Rose met her best friend Randy and they remained friends until her death. Rose worked the last ten years at The Select Group. She was able to move into her dream apartment and live there for the last six-months. It was at the Ocean Front and she loved being near the ocean.
Rose is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Thelma Lee, both sets of grandparents, and nephew, Richard Fee.
Those left here on earth to mourn her are; brothers: Bob Lee and wife Nesya, Tom Lee and wife Misty, and Bill Lee and wife Theresa, and sisters: Kathy Fee and husband Ricky and Mary Carol Davis and husband Todd, eleven nieces and nephews, and eleven great nieces and nephews. Many longtime friends who she had lost touch with but all came to say their goodbyes in the end.
Those we love
Don’t go away
They walk beside us
Every day…
Unseen, unheard,
But always near,
Still loved,
Still missed
And very dear.
