Caitlin Amber Blaufus passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Caitlin lived her life to the fullest despite the many challenges she faced from birth due to a congenital heart defect. She shared an enormous passion for music, singing, and songwriting with her identical twin sister Adriane. She loved spending time with her friends and family and made many beautiful memories with her devoted husband Ryan.
She is survived by her husband Ryan Blaufus, stepson Justin Blaufus, twin sister Adriane Nimmo and husband Ray, father Ronald Sears and wife Hollie, grandparents Darryl and Bonnie Sears, and cat Kiara (Beydooze).
She is predeceased by her grandfather Walter R. Munden whom she loved so very much.
Her family is grateful for every doctor and nurse who cared for her starting at CHKD, especially her cardiologist Dr. Alexander Ellis.
She will continue to be an inspiration for those who have known her. To respect her wishes, there will be a private family service to honor and celebrate her life. Contributions can be made to the Children’s Hospital Of The King’s Daughters Cardiology Department.
