Smith and Charles H. Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Evon Smith and his brother, Dennis Smith.
Survivors include his brother and sisters; Marsha Blaze (Darrel), Dee Ellen Moss (Timothy) and John H. Smith, his nieces and nephews; Kristina Smith-Whitaker (Lawrence), Rashan Blaze (Sheila) , Adina Moss (Donell), Raphael Moss; great nieces and nephews; Malik Whitaker, Marquis Whitaker, Aliza Williams, Christina Moss-Hood, Isaiah Devost, lifelong friend and brother in law, Michael O’ Bryant from North Chicago Illinois, Robert Allen from Newport News VA, and a host of cousins.
Charles enjoyed watching all sports but his favorite team were the Chicago Cubs. He also loved playing cards and board games. Charles retired from the government after forty-six years of service.
