Vinicio Fabbrizi, aged 40, passed away on June 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Chesapeake, Vinicio was a proud graduate of Catholic High School. Known for his culinary talent, Vinicio pursued his passion as a chef, making his mark in several local restaurants. His culinary expertise even earned him recognition on multiple occasions, appearing on the Hampton Roads show cooking segments.

Vinicio is survived by his devoted wife, Claire Fabbrizi; his cherished children, Emily, Vania, and Joey; and his father, Vinicio Fabbrizi. He is preceded in death by his mother, Vincenza Luisi.

Vinicio will be remembered for his zest for life, his culinary creativity, and above all, his unwavering love for his family.

I knew him as “Ciccio.” His sweet parents gave me my first job. He was at the restaurant a lot. He was funny and outgoing. He would help me bus tables and sing songs for quarters to play video games. Long after we both became adults I would see him out shopping or at the schools where our children were classmates. He always talked about his parents, sister, wife and children with so much love and pride. I know he will me missed by many. I am grateful to have known him and will look forward to seeing him on the other side of eternity. Our family will be praying for God’s blessings on the Fabbrizi family.

My families and I started to go to Andrea's restaurant begining in the 80's. several years ago I was on a liquid diet so I called the restaurant and Vinizio answered I asked him if soup was on the menu and told him about my diet. he told me no worries that he would make a soup for me. that was so thoughtful of him it was delicious and I will always remember that kindness. my deepest sympathy and prayers to his family for his passing at such a young age.
