June Faye Spence Anderson Rammell passed away July 14^th, 2024 in Virginia Beach. June was born to John Marshall and Nell Brite Spence October 7^th, 1932 in Norfolk, Virginia. She is survived by her husband James “Buster” Rammell, her five children: Debra Unmussig (husband Bob) of Canton, Georgia, Nell Tucker (husband Pat) of Moyock, NC, Dr. Ryan Anderson (wife Adele) of Monterey, Virginia, David Anderson (wife Michele) of Dripping Springs, Texas, Penney Vaughn (husband Brad) of Foothill Ranch, California, her stepchildren: Liz Harris (husband Sel) of Virginia Beach, VA, Anne Copeland (husband Jimmy) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jim Rammell (wife Phyllis) of Aiken, South Carolina, and her sisters: Marguerite Whitaker and Millie Anderson. June was blessed with twenty grandchildren, six step grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Anderson Sr. whom she worked with for twenty years in the insurance and real estate business. John and June spent 40 beautiful years together raising their children and grandchildren. Years after his death, June met Buster, and they were married. June and Buster brought their two loving families together for 27 years.

June will always be remembered for her unwavering compassion and generosity. She loved her family fiercely until the end. Her laughter was contagious, her smile lit up the room, and her positive outlook on life was a beacon of hope during difficult times. Though June is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but may her love and kindness continue to inspire us all in the days to come.

A memorial service we be held for June on  July 26^th, 2024, at 11 am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of June Anderson Rammell to the Little Sisters of the Poor
