Carol Jeanne Phillips
January 5, 1960 - July 20, 2024

Carol Jeanne Phillips, age 64, died peacefully in the arms of her husband and daughters on July 20,2024 at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born on January 5th, 1960 in Syracuse, New York to Walter and Bethyl Dodge. Carol is survived by her parents and her two younger brothers, Charles and James Dodge. Carol is also survived by her loving husband, Ronald Phillips, their four daughters, and five grandchildren.

Aside from spending time with her family and friends, Carol had a passion for gardening, the beach, raising monarch butterflies, and protecting the environment. Carol had a profound affect on people she met and earned the respect of her many coworkers at the Newport News Shipbuilding over her twenty years of service.

Her family is honoring her request for a private Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to:
