Kim Evette Edwards Miller passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Kim was born July 30, 1960 to Willie Mae “Michelle” Robinson (nee Murray) and Oliver Edwards in Brooklyn, New York. She was a graduate of Oak Grove High School at the age of 16.
After high school, Kim continued her studies at the University of Southern California and Pace University. In her spare time, Kim loved to travel and spend time with family. Eager to try everything under the sun, Kim’s favorite vocational interests included being a model, NYC taxi cab driver, and a radio broadcaster.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mae and Oliver; sisters, Crystal and Tanya; and husband, Desmond Miller. Left to cherish her memory are her father, Richard Robinson; sons, Desmond and Ahsan (Brazil); grandson, Amari; granddaughters, Nairobi and Nyeri; brothers, Terrance, Timothy (Adrianne), and Vincent, sisters Lateefah (David) and Takiyah (Stephen); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial for Kim will start at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23464. A Celebration of Life will follow directly after in Virginia Beach, Virginia. All contributions are welcome.
