Mark E. Beck 65, Virginia Beach, VA. formerly of Watertown, NY., passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 5, 2024, in Sentra Leigh Hospital, Norfolk VA.

Mark was born in Watertown, NY. on November 26, 1958, to Francis “Frank” D. and Geraldine “Gerry” M. Beck. Mark graduated from Watertown High School in 1977. He entered the United States Army in August 1977, served as a Combat Medical Specialist and was honorably discharged in March 1988. While in the Army, Mark married Julia “Judy”, L. Duff from Opelika, AL. Mark and Judy had two daughters, Victoria and Ashley. After his military service, Mark served the Virginia Beach, VA. community as an Emergency Medical Technician and recently worked in retail sales.

Mark is survived by his two daughters, Victoria (Lee Mosher) Jackson Gap, AL.; Ashley L. Beck (Travis Evans) Virginia, Beach VA., his father Frank Beck, Prospect KY; two sisters, Laura A. (Mark Olejarczyk), Mooresville NC. and Gina Marie (David Murphy), Summerland Key, FL.; two brothers, Francis D. Beck, Jr. (Kevin) Syracuse, NY. and Charles J. Beck (Dorothy) Fort Worth, TX. Mark is also survived by six grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua and Brianna Mosher Opelika, AL., Lorien Burghard and Mary and Erica Evans Virginia Beach, VA. Mark was predeceased by his wife and mother.

A private memorial service will be held in Virginia Beach, VA. at a later date.
