Wanda L. Heckstall, 54, passed away on Sunday, Aug 11, 2024, in Norfolk, Virginia. She was born on January 29, 1970, to John and Justina Mosley in Norfolk, Virginia. A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, class of 1988. Wanda graduated from Norfolk State University in 1992 with a degree in early childhood education.

An avid sports fan, her favorite teams were the NY Giants and Boston Celtics. Spending quality time with family and friends brought her so much joy. We didn’t need a holiday to get together, “It was all about family, and anyone was welcomed.”

Wanda is predeceased by her father, John Mosley. Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Gregory Jr. and Tawan, her mother (Justina) and sister Krystal Mosley, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A private memorial service will be held for Wanda on August 31, 2024. Her family has respectfully requested, in lieu of flowers, to make contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of America in her honor.
