Following his distinguished military career, he continued to serve his community as a civil servant with the Fort Eustis training department, where he worked as a videographer for more than 20 years.
A man of many interests, Robert found joy in traveling, spending cherished moments with family and friends, and capturing the beauty of the world through photography. His love for music, fishing, gardening, building, and landscaping brought him peace and fulfillment. Robert’s adventurous spirit led him and his family to explore numerous destinations, including Rhoda, Spain; Hawaii; Washington; Florida; Tennessee; Alaska; Virginia; and North Carolina. One of his proudest accomplishments was visiting many of the National Parks across the United States, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Throughout his life, Robert was known for his unwavering faith, often reminding others that God is in control and expressing gratitude to the Lord for His blessings.
