Wendy Marie Weniger, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 15 th, 2025. Born on September 19th, 1970, in Meadville Pennsylvania to Conrad Weniger and Mary Jane Vendel. They survive. Wendy was a very special person who was loved by everyone who met her. She found a way of connecting with friends and family through their hobbies and interests. Along the way, she picked up a love of her German heritage, food and cooking, gardening, travelling to NYC, crafting, canning, bracelet making and antiquing. Her son Nicholas Weniger brought a special joy to her heart.

In addition to her parents and son, Wendy leaves behind her partner Josh Gordon of Virginia Beach, Sisters Tamara (Dave) Stepp of Bellville Il, Megan Vendel of Prineville, OR, Brothers William Weniger of Pittsburgh, PA, Theodore Weniger of PA, Matthew (Jamie) Weniger and niece Mae of Cochranton, PA, Scott Kesler of Erie, PA, several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to family, she also leaves behind several close friends including Colby Pinner and Denise Gordon of Virginia Beach.

Wendy was preceeded in death by Maternal Grandparents Delores and Albert Vendel, Paternal Grandparents William and Frieda Weniger, and stepmother Donna Weniger.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Cremation Society of Virginia. There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date. For memorial contributions, the family suggests donations in Wendy’s memory to Samaritan House (a charity that Wendy supported), The Susan G.
