Paul Arthur Frazier Jr., born on January 27, 1954, in Washington D.C., passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Newport News, VA, at the age of 71. A man whose life was a testament to joy, kindness, and boundless energy, Paul left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Paul dedicated his professional life to serving as an I.T. Branch Chief for the U.S. Federal Government, where he was known for his leadership, dedication, and innovative spirit. His colleagues often remarked on his ability to inspire others and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, Paul was a passionate fan of the Washington Redskins, proudly cheering them on every season. He cherished time with his family, finding immense joy and fulfillment in their company. The ocean was a place of peace for Paul, where he spent countless hours reflecting and enjoying nature’s beauty.
His outgoing and friendly nature made him a beloved figure in any gathering. Paul had a gift for entertaining and could light up a room with his presence. In his younger years, he was part of a band, and his love for singing remained with him throughout his life, bringing happiness to those around him.
Paul was preceded in death by his loving parents, Barbara and Paul Frazier Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie Frazier, who was his steadfast partner and best friend. His legacy lives on through his sons, Paul Frazier III, Roy Lee Johnson, Brian A Johnson, and Justin M Abrell, who were his pride and joy. Paul is also survived by his brothers, Derrick, Marlon, Kevin, and Damon (Traci) Frazier, and his sister, Nicole Page (Woody), along with a large extended family and a multitude of friends.
