It's hard not to call you the second I have something fun to share, but I love knowing you are still nearby. Thank you for letting me know through Jaybird that you are safe and in a wonderful place with everyone you love. You taught me to give my all in everything I do, and to have fun while doing it. Above all, you showed me that I can help others enjoy their life even more...and the best part is watching them find their joy. Rico and I miss your hug bugs, but I appreciate your final words to me: "I'm fine!" and "I'm not dying!!" You are fine...you're still among us, but without that body that held you back. Enjoy this new journey, Mom! And check out the crepe myrtles in Texas. I will keep the hummingbird feeder filled. 0:-)

My heart goes out to Jim, and Jane’s beloved children, adored grandchildren, and her many friends. I am Gary Rooney’s daughter, Jane’s half brother by Jack Rooney. Although she and my dad didn’t grow up together, Aunt Jane always “claimed me” as family and was so kind to me throughout my life. She was my last connection to my dad’s family and I’ll always be grateful to her for remembering me, my brothers, and my mom. During the last several years, we were Facebook friends and Messaged each other occasionally. She was always bragging about her grandkids (no surprise there, I’m sure). I wish you peace with your memories of a woman who loved you all very much. Take good care. ❤️
