Chesapeake ~ Patricia Ann McMillian, aged 73, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. Born on February 24, 1952, in Schenectady, NY, Patricia lived a life full of love, laughter, and warmth that touched everyone she met.
As a devoted homemaker, Patricia centered her life around her family, cherishing every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her home was always filled with joy and creativity, beautifully decorated for each season, and transformed into a winter wonderland every Christmas, reflecting her love for the holiday spirit.
Patricia had an adventurous soul, often embarking on spontaneous road trips that became cherished family memories. She found joy in video games, especially when she won at Mario Kart, a testament to her playful and competitive nature. Her love for art was evident in her drawings and paintings, with purple being her favorite color that added vibrancy to her creations.
In her youth, Patricia was a graceful dancer and carried her passion for music throughout her life. She adored rock and roll, with Queen and Garth Brooks holding special places in her heart. Music was a constant companion, bringing comfort and joy to her days.
Above all, Patricia’s greatest joy came from her family. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Patricia Ann Edwards and Thomas Fetters Page, Sr., and her devoted husband, Steven Frances McMillian.
Left to honor her memory are her loving children: James McMillian (Toni) and their children, James Jr., Brittney, K.J., Jenifer, and Tandra; daughter, Teana (Stephen) Ferguson and their children, Kristy and Taylor. Patricia is also survived by her brother, Thomas (Lisa) Page, Jr., and his children, Thomas III and Rebecca; and her sister, Debra Ann Arnold (Mike) and their daughter, Julie. Her family was her world, and she was theirs, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held to honor Patricia’s memory. In her honor, donations can be made in her memory to the Heart Disease Association, continuing her legacy of care and compassion.
Patricia Ann McMillian’s life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and family. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
