Christine had a particular fondness for the color purple, and her home and garden were adorned with purple flowers, welcoming butterflies that seemed to recognize a kindred spirit. These small joys brought her immense happiness and were a reflection of her vibrant, yet calming presence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Albert Kabus, and her brother, Paul Kabus. Christine is survived by her devoted husband of 19 years, Howard M. Dellert, as well as her best friends and caregivers, Nelia and David Mercado, who stood by her side with love and support.
