Carole Ann Allen, aged 82, peacefully departed this world on November 13, 2025, in Newport News, VA, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Born on September 5, 1943, in Pennsylvania, Carole was a beacon of kindness and compassion throughout her life.

Carole dedicated her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life, as she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found immense joy in spending time with her family.

Her passion for painting allowed her to express the beauty she saw in the world, while her love for reading opened the doors to countless adventures and new perspectives. Carole’s zest for life was evident in her enthusiasm for dancing, where she found freedom and happiness in every step.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Sara and Jesse Calloway. Carole is survived by her loving daughter, Aletha Russell, and son-in-law, Daryl Russell; her loving son, Carl Allen Jr, her treasured grandchildren, Carady Russell and Carl Allen III; and her precious great-granddaughters, Daisy Gladden and Harper Wren Miller. She also leaves behind her dear niece, Topaz Calloway; her brother, Kenneth Calloway; and numerous friends and extended family who were fortunate to have shared in her life’s journey.

Carole’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and joy will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
