Michael Ray Everett was born on December 15, 1965, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Elisha Lee Everett Sr. and Sally Virginia Munford Everett. On November 6, 2025, Michael earned his wings surrounded by the people he loved most—his wife, his mother, his daughters, and his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Sahnow-Everett; his daughters, Dayna (Joey) and Nikki (Will); his mother, Sally V. Moore (Chris); his grandsons, Gunner and Levi Everett; and his granddaughter, Jolynn Sahnow.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elisha Lee Everett Sr.; his brother, Elisha Lee Everett Jr.; and his beloved daughter, Michelle Sahnow.
Michael loved his family first and everything else second. He found peace in the outdoors—whether he was casting a line while fishing with his best friend Ray, or hunting with his C&B Hunting Club family. Nature was his happy place.
He also had a passion for playing cornhole and was proud to be part of a large cornhole community that became like family to him.
Michael will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty, his love for the simple things, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
