Shannon McRoberts White, born on July 27, 1974, in Florida, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Hampton, Virginia, at the age of 51. Shannon’s life was a tapestry of warmth, creativity, and love, touched by her passions for crocheting, and spending cherished moments with her dogs and her beloved brothers.

Throughout her life, Shannon found joy in the simple pleasures that brought comfort to herself and others. Her intricate creations of yarn were not just hobbies but expressions of her generous spirit and artistic soul. Those who had the privilege of receiving one of her handcrafted pieces knew the care and dedication she poured into every stitch.

Shannon was a beacon of love and support to her family, especially her loving brother and caretaker, Edward Bell. Her marriage to Martin White was a testament to enduring partnership and devotion. She shared a special bond with her brothers, Steve, Dwayne and Keith Bell, whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Her journey was marked by resilience and grace, qualities she inherited from her late father, Daniel J. McRoberts  and her late mother Hilda McRoberts, and which she exemplified alongside her brother Eric Bell and her precious dog Smeigal, who preceded her in death.
