Virginia Beach ~ Wilma Sue Wehner, 92, passed away peacefully on December 6th.
Wilma lived a full life marked by laughter, love, and a strong will. She was the proud mother of two sons and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her son Paul, daughter-in-law Coleen, brother Robert, two grandchildren Amber and Cameron, and her great-grandson Liam whom she loved deeply.
Wilma is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Nettie Surles, and her son, Frank Wehner.
Wilma also referred to as GiGi was known for her quick wit and always having something sassy to say, she could bring a smile to anyone around her. Her stubborn streak was well known, but it reflected her strength and determination. Those who knew her knew she had a true passion for cooking and was rarely without a recipe to tell you, sharing love and care through the meals she prepared.
Wilma will be remembered for her humor and resilience she brought to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through laughter, love, and memories she leaves behind.
A private service will be held in the early Spring.
