South Mills, NC – Tony Damon Weaver, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 66. Born on April 8, 1959, in Virginia, Tony lived a life marked by dedication and service.
Tony proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy, where he developed skills that would lead to a fulfilling career as an Electronics Technician at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. His commitment to his work and his country was unwavering, and he will be remembered for his steadfast dedication. Tony walked his own path of belief, guided by compassion and understanding.
Preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Wesley Weaver, Sr. and Emma Lee Williams Weaver, and his brother, John Wesley Weaver, Jr., Tony leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his brothers, Hershell Lee Weaver of Hertford, NC, and George Henry Weaver of South Mills, NC, as well as his sister, Amy Louisa Murphy, and her husband, Harry, of Suffolk, VA.
