Adrian Macias rode off peacefully into the sunset on January 9, 2026, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 71. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico to the late Erlinda and Manuel Macias. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Armando and Alfonso Macias.
Adrian was a man of quiet strength, known for his calm and steady temperament. He spent many years working as a Ford auto mechanic, where he honed his skills and developed a deep passion for motors. His love for working on engines, particularly motorcycles, was well-known among his family and friends. Adrian’s expertise extended beyond his professional life; he was an excellent handyman who could often be found lending a helping hand to friends and neighbors.
Adrian is survived by his beloved wife and life partner of 53 years (23 of those married), Connie Macias. He also leaves behind his two nieces, Rachael Bratton and Danielle Gentry, along with many extended relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Adrian’s legacy is one of kindness, skill, and a life well-lived, marked by his dedication to his craft and his unwavering support for those around him. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
