Martha Clotilde Roman Berru, born on November 22, 1943, in Chiclayo, Peru, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Chester, Virginia, at the age of 82. A devoted Jehovah’s Witness, she dedicated her life to serving Jehovah and sharing her faith as a Pioneer.
Martha’s journey was one of unwavering faith and commitment. Throughout her life, she inspired those around her with her deep devotion and tireless efforts to spread the teachings of Jehovah. Her passion for her beliefs was evident in her every action, and she found immense joy in being a Pioneer, bringing comfort and hope to many.
Preceded in death by her loving parents, Flavio Roman Cruz and Salome Berru, Martha leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She is survived by her son Jesus, her daughter Martha, her cherished grandchildren, and numerous beloved members of her congregations in Virginia, California, and Lima, Peru.
During her final days, Martha continued to provide solace and encouragement to her fellow believers, reminding them of Jehovah’s promises and the hope they bring. Her spirit and dedication touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
