After his retirement, he enjoyed coaching youth sports including football and girls’ softball. Larry was an avid reader who cherished every moment spent with his family.
The family is planning a memorial service at the Memphis National Veterans Cemetery at a later date to celebrate Larry’s life and service.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional staff at Harper’s Station in Yorktown, VA, for their unwavering support and dedication. They are also deeply grateful to Interim Healthcare Hospice, the Hampton Veteran’s Affairs GeriPACT Unit, Seniors Helping Seniors, and the Cremation Society of Virginia for their remarkable care, compassion, and grace during this challenging time
