Tammy Teer, 55, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on March 28, 2026. She was born January 16, 1971, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Tammy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University in 1993. She went on to work for State Farm Insurance until she became disabled in 1998.

Tammy suffered from numerous serious medical conditions. Most notably, she suffered from severe chronic pain that progressively worsened throughout her adult life. She handled her challenges with incredible grace, and she devoted herself to becoming an advocate for pain patients.

Despite her pain and suffering, Tammy never lost her strong Christian faith and was a true inspiration to all who knew her. She was passionate, warm, and kind, and she will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Brian Teer, parents, Bob and Judy Glass, brother, Matt Glass, his wife, Caitlin Glass, nephew, Logan Glass, and niece, Layla Glass.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 12 pm at King’s Grant Baptist Church at 873 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
