It is with a mixture of sorrow and joy that we share the news of the loss of our mother, Virginia Leedy Eason. To some she was Ginny, to others Virginia, Nanny to her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren, and Mom to us.

Ravaged for many years by three different types of Dementia, we lost out mother slowly, day by day as the person we knew disappeared and before our eyes evolved a sweet childlike presence. The sorrow of the loss of who she was hung over us for years, so for us, the joy of her physical body passing into a realm free from suffering is a blessing that we cherish.

Her services were private as she would have wanted. She was interned with the love of her life, our father, Jerry. It is our hope and prayer that she finds him in eternity and along with all the beloved pets they shared throughout their 50 years together, will live on in eternal rest and peace.
