Steuart A. Kimmeth, known as “Tuie” to his family and “Stu” to his colleagues, 71, of York County, Virginia was suddenly called home on May 18, 2026. He was reunited with his parents William A. Kimmeth and Isabelle C. Kimmeth.

For the last 20 years he was employed at H&R Block where he was a Tax Professional, Instructor and Office Manager. He joined the H&R Block team where he rapidly excelled as part of the team. He was quickly promoted to being an Office manager responsible for day-to-day operations at multiple locations. During his time there, he taught Advanced/Intermediate Federal tax classes as well as classes on preparing state income tax returns. Most recently, he assisted individuals with their tax returns. Working at H&R block did not feel like a job to him, he acted as a mentor and cultivated relationships with not only his colleagues but clients. Steuart prided himself on staying updated on the newest tax information to assist his clients in the best way possible.

Prior to H&R Block, he spent 30 years in the hospital industry. Throughout the years he followed sports closely, his favorite being basketball. During NCAA March Madness, he competed with friends by making brackets. Steuart was known to his family as a tech- savvy individual. A hobby of his was to fix computers and find the newest gadget to tinker with. When he was not watching sports or tinkering, Steuart enjoyed exploring history at the Mariner’s Museum, Colonial Williamsburg and the Living Museum. As an admirer of history, he not only visited historical sites, but he also collected antiques and classic comics.

Steuart attended and graduated from Warwick High School. While he attended Warwick High School, he was part of the debate team. After high school, he graduated from Old Dominion University (ODU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management. When he attended ODU, he was not only part of the debate team, he participated in the student government.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He survived by his sister Kyra Kimmeth, his brother Craig Kimmeth (Bobbie), his nephew Austin Kimmeth, his niece Alexis Dudley (Derek) and his great nephew Mason Dudley.

A celebration of life will be held in his memory at a later date.
