She received her degree from John Tyler Community College, Summa Cum Laude, in 2000 and shortly after, she obtained her funeral service license in the state of Virginia, becoming Manager of the Cremation Society of Virginia. She moved from Hampton Roads for several years and came back to the area and employment with the Cremation Society of Virginia in 2024 managing the Chesapeake Office. Mimi is licensed as a funeral director in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Previously living in Myrtle Beach, SC, Wilmington, NC and Virginia Beach, she is currently residing in Suffolk, VA with her support dog, a beautiful black lab named Maggie. She has two amazing sons and two precious grandsons. She is passionate about her work and the families she serves.
