VIRGINIA BEACH – Jennabell J. Duncan (“Jennie”), born February 12, 1942, in Milton, MA, passed away on June 11, 2026, after a brief illness.
Jennie will be remembered for her quick wit, her love of antiques, furniture refinishing and gardening, and her many years of dedicated volunteer service in her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gladys Johnson; her brother, Carl Johnson; and her beloved husband, William E. Duncan.
She is survived by her children, Abbie McGee (Mike), Adam Duncan (Sylvia Lewis), and Aaron Duncan; her grandchildren, Mark McGee, Grace McGee (Morgan Harris), Zoe McGee (Dan Eichelberger), Andrew Duncan, and Michael Duncan; her six great-grandchildren: Walter Harris, Elaine Harris, Iris Eichelberger, Beatrice Harris, Shorey Harris, and Floyd Eichelberger; and her brother, David Johnson (Judy).
A private family service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Jennie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, humor, and generosity leave a lasting legacy in the lives she touched.
