Portsmouth: Elsie B Thomas went to be with The Lord March, 27 2011. She was predeceased by her loving husband George Ellis Thomas. Survivors include daughter Marilyn D Jones and fiance Thomas R Skip Daughtry, son David E Thomas and wife Sharon L Thomas, five grandsons and twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Family and friends are invited to join us in a celebration of her life April 3, 2011 at 2pm at Community United Methodist Church. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 37 Cherry Road, Portsmouth, Va 23701 or Sentara Hospice Foundation, 6015 Poplar Hall Drive Suite 308 Norfolk, Va 23502-3819.
