Kathy Lynn DeHaven
Chesapeake-On Wednesday December 26 2018, Kathy Lynn DeHaven went to meet the Lord. She passed peacefully at Chesapeake General Hospital.
A longtime resident of the Great Bridge area, Kathy enjoyed being involved with her community. She loved being with her close knit family and friends, her position with Chesapeake Public Schools as a bus aid, and she enjoyed being active with Great Bridge Crew club.
She leaves behind daughters Apryl Mercado, Crystal Ledder, son-in-law Marc Ledder, grandchildren Elijah and Roxanne Mercado, and a loving extended family.
Kathy is also survived by her mother-in-law Roberta Pfizenmayer (James), sister-in-law Mary Bohling (James), nieces Hannah and Leah Bohling, and her nephew Noah Bohling. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life of 18 years Daniel DeHaven, and former husband and high school sweetheart of 25 years Raymond “R.P.” Jones.
Cremation Society of Virginia has been entrusted with arrangements. Currently the family is awaiting to set a date for her graveside funeral service.
