I worked with your mom for a short period of time around 1970. Loved her instantly. Knew your dad too. We stayed in touch for a number of years...and then as time passed lost touch. I have thought of her so often over the years. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ned, My Mom (Ethel Hill) - Chubby's wife - and I are so very sorry to hear about the passing of your sweet Mother. I have tried to keep in touch with her, with our annual Christmas card exchange and knew something was wrong when I did not receive one the last couple of years. She and I always got in trouble at the VSA meetings because we were always "talking" too much. I will never forget the picnics we all attended and I can still see her beautiful smile and hear her laugh. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy. BUT we both know that she and her sister, Ms. Gracie, are both causing "trouble" up in heaven. GOD Bless you Always.

Our family has been blessed to meet Audrey and Ned at SFNC. Audrey was sassy little lady, funny, caring and independent in spite of being in a nursing home. Her last words to me were "You take care of yourself". Ned's faithfulness to his Mother endeared him to staff and residents. He was there to oversee her care and spend time with her almost everyday for two years. They are missed.
