My sincerest thoughts are with Ed and the family. God be with you during this time . And look over Ed in the Heavens and the Family as they accept and mourn his absence. My short comings and findings are Ed was a man of God and good to mankind and a true appreciation to fellow friends . .

There’s a lot of memories here that makes this hit me hard, so I can’t even imagine what your going threw right now. But when a loved one dies as we mourn there loss we also must remember, life is about celebration, and as we remember Ed we must remember him as he was and celebrate all those memories we have made and will forever had and know Ed had a great life, the chance to father a wonderful son who loved him very much. And every time one stands over his grave just know, he will not be there, because he did not die, he is a thousand winds that blow, he is the diamond glints on snow, he is the sunlight on ripened grain, he is the gentle Autumn rain and when you awaken in the mornings hush he is that swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight he is the stars that shine at night. So you see he is all around you he does not sleep. So celebrate his wonderful life he had on this earth, never forget those wonderful memories. And know Ed Lewis will always be missed! My heart goes out to you brant and family.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. God promises us that He will comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I’d like to share with y’all this link that shows 12 steps on coping with grief that is good for sharing. I have personally found this very comforting and I hope y’all do as well. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=102018086&srcid=share
