Larry L. “Larmie” Walker, 51, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Larry was born in California but moved around the country as a Navy brat until he settled in Virginia Beach.

Larry loved his family, his pets, the wildlife in his backyard, and the ocean. His favorite place was Sandbridge beach in the early morning. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Gayle Walker. Left to cherish fond memories are his wife, Denise, his father Larry O. Walker, sister Lisa Dye and her husband, Scottie; sisters and brothers in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins, and his nieces and nephews. His personality was larger than life and so was his heart. He was proud to be an owner operator trucker and planned his routes to include family visits. His sense of humor and love of fun are already greatly missed by all who love him. In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to honor his memory may donate to the animal rescue group of their choice.
