Ronald Edward Maynard 75 of Weeksville, NC passed away July 7 2019 surrounded by his family.  Ronald was born in Wheelersburg, Ohio to Ersel and Martha Maynard.  Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Lane Maynard and Susie Hasenohr.  He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Phelps and her husband Ray Phelps, son Scott Maynard and his fiancé Heidi Noel , 6 grandchildren: Chelsea Harris and her husband Nicholas Harris, Hunter Phelps, Elizabeth Maynard, Adeline Maynard, Leila Turner and Blake Maynard and 2 great grandchildren: Grayson Phelps and Riley Elizabeth Harris as well as several nephews.

Ronald honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Navy retiring as a Senior Chief after 27 years.  He continued to work as a government contractor, Black Jack dealer, truck driver and Realtor. In his free time he always enjoyed spending time with his family and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Ronald love to fish, crab, boat, travel and ride his beloved Valkyrie Trike. He also enjoyed gardening and watching the birds in his back yard.  Ronald was a Master Mason and also a member of the Weeksville Lion’s Club.

Ronald will be remember for his smile, laugh and love of country and family. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Weeksville Lions Club, Weeksville, NC in honor of him. We love and miss you Dad!!
