Donna Ange Hill, age 70, passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home in Norfolk Virginia on Tuesday August 20, 2019. Donna was the wife of Leonard Hill also of Norfolk.
Born July 31, 1949 Donna Marie Ange to Roscoe and Elnora Ange (Deceased) in Norfolk, Donna grew up in the Virginia Beach area where she went to Kellam and Princess Anne High Schools.
As well as being predeceased by her parents she is also predeceased by her older brother Ronald E. Ange and her husband Philip Konrad.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Ron Subeh of Norfolk Virginia, and daughter Kelly White of Wisconsin.
Also left to remember her are Mary Kaye Subeh, Gabrielle Subeh, Glen White, Symiah White and one great grandchild.
Donna is also survived by two brothers, Michael Ange and his wife Suzanne of Lilburn, Georgia, and Paul Ange and his wife Cindy of Ahoskie, North Carolina; Along with numerous nieces and one nephew and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Donna was a real “Southern Lady” who enjoyed conversation, coffee, comedy, and loved to encourage others.
She was an accomplished pianist, and served over 40 years as church pianist for several churches in the area. She was always ready to minister in any area of need especially when it came to sharing her musical ministerial gifts at funerals for others and was on call by several of the Funeral homes in the area.
She retired from Chesapeake Regional Medical Center where she had served for many years to care for her aging and ailing mother. She was a charter member of the Hyde Park Free Will Baptist Church where she grew up playing the piano with her mother accompanying her on the organ.
Her Celebration of Life and Memories Service will be held at the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church at 2430 Azalea Garden Road in Norfolk on August 31, 2019 at 11 AM. The service will be under the direction of Donna’s brother Rev. Paul Ange. We would like to give a special thank you from our family to Rev. Mark Crews and the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church for the use of their fine facilities.
