Alice Boudoin Hill, 83 of Hampton, Virginia departed this life on January 11, 2020. She was born to the late Robert Sr. and Frozine Boudoin on February 22, 1936 in Edgard, Louisiana. She attended catholic school and furthered her education in Louisiana. She met and married her late husband Charles K. Hill, Sr. in Louisiana and relocated to Connecticut in 1959. From their union were born four children Charles K. Jr., John M., Reginald, and Sonjai C. Hill(Brown). In addition, she leaves a legacy of love to niece Leila C.; Grandchildren: Tawana C. Little and Alex H. Wilks II; Great-Grandchildren: Kyrasia T. Jones and LaSaan T.H. Wilks; Great-Great Grandchildren Maison and Madison Jones; in-law Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Ourelia and Mary T.; brothers Simon and Robert Jr.; brother-in-law Robert Hill; a host of nieces and nephews; extended family members and beloved sister-friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her late husband Charles K. Sr., son Reginald, and five deceased siblings. Ms. Alice was a devoted at-home mother during her children’s primary years and was employed at various companies prior to her retirement from U.S. Winchester Repeating Arms Company. She was a dedicated community and political activist in New Haven, Connecticut and continued service within her community at the Hampton Senior Center and as an Adopt-A-Grand-parent volunteer reader for school-age children after relocating to Hampton, Virginia in 1997. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at New Hope Baptist Church. The interment will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park and family and friends will be received in the Fellowship Hall of New Hope Baptist Church immediately following.
