Marie Renee Manry, 52, of Virginia Beach passed away on May 22, 2020 surrounded by her family. Marie was born in Ryslip, England on February 23, 1968 to the late Roger Edgar Manry and the late Rita Perez Manry. Marie is survived by her step-mother, Betty Manry, sister Anne Solomon (Brian) and brothers John Manry and Martin Manry (Debby). The love of her life was her nephew Ethan Solomon. Also very special lifetime friends Nina and Bascom Wilson, Carolyn (Andrew) Henderson, Chrissy (Scott) Cumpston and Christopher (Tina) Wilson.

She was a graduate of Kellam High School in Virginia Beach. She worked retail at Leggett and Blue Ridge Mountain Sports for a number of years before changing careers. Marie chose to follow in her father’s footsteps becoming a Corrections Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia for over 20 years. She was a member of Tidewater Search and Rescue for about 8 years. Marie enjoyed working the Election Polls for the last 12 years. Due to Covid—19 restrictions, there will be no services for Marie.
